Towing company accused of taking advantage of people in Joplin, MO
A Kansas City area company is accused of towing tornado damaged vehicles in Joplin, then charging extreme fees for owners to get them back. Missouri’s attorney general has obtained a temporary restraining order against Independence Tow And Recovery. Chris Koster says the company towed away several tractor trailers, in some cases without permission from the owners.
